How To Protect Your Business And Your Customers When Making Off-Premises Sales

One of the many ways your business may find potential customers is by direct selling. You know your business can provide the goods or services that the customer may need, but waiting and hoping for the customer to find you is simply not always a viable option.

Rival companies with bigger marketing budgets will always come out on top, people notice TV and radio adverts, catchy slogans and glossy brochures.

So, if the customers aren’t beating a path to your door, you need to beat a path to theirs and direct selling is often the way.

BUT ……you must ensure that you and your staff, particularly sales staff understand and comply with all of the Consumer Protection legislation.

This can be a minefield,  if you get it wrong you may end up with unhappy customers, legal action and a Trading Standards investigation.

I developed a training course specifically aimed at businesses that use direct selling techniques. This course covers everything from the relevant laws to identifying and managing potentially vulnerable customers. The course is presented in an engaging and interactive way.
